Hippo World Guest Book is the first new Edinburgh solo show in three years from double Fringe First winner Chris Goode.
Hippo World is a real web site where the global community of hippopotamus enthusiasts gathers to look at hippo pictures and share hippo facts. Visitors are invited to sign the site’s guest book and leave comments.
But no one’s moderating the guest book...
In this solo show, Chris Goode reads from the guest book to reveal an epic international story that has unfolded over a decade through thousands of messages.
Following his acclaimed Edinburgh solo performances Kiss Of Life - which won a Scotsman Fringe First - and Nine Days Crazy, Chris again teases a fascinating and funny show from the most unlikely of source material.
